Nelco Electric, Inc is an electrical contracting company based in Germantown that provides residential, commercial, institutional and industrial electrical services throughout southeast Wisconsin.
Bruce Nelson and his wife, Sue, along with two other partners, founded the company in 2003 with more than 40 years of combined electrical experience. After starting off as a two-man shop, renting a one-room office space, they have been able to grow the business into an employee-owned business (called an ESOP) with roughly 40 employee owners.
“Ever since we started our business, one of our main focuses has been to take care of our customers and employees,” says Bruce, President of Nelco Electric. “Now as an Employee-Owned business, our entire company is even more dedicated to make sure you are receiving the best service possible at a fair price.” Now that Nelco Electric is employee owned it offers more opportunities for their staff and offers a great outlook for the future.
“Nelco Electric, Inc has been based out of Germantown since 2003,” shares Bruce. “We are proud to serve such a great part of Wisconsin. We have worked for many businesses in the area including; AO Smith, CH Coakley, Scan Pac Manufacturing, Spectrum, US Foods, and Versiti. We have also done work with many other companies big and small in the Southeastern Region of Wisconsin. We have great pride in contributing to the investment in our local schools, businesses and homes.”
